Celebrate your birthday in Paris Milestone

Are you turning 30,35,40,45, 50? Birthdays of reference are the perfect stage excuse for the ultimate getaway friends in Paris. Tom used his wife's 30th anniversary as a catalyst for a chic jaunt to Paris and make it unforgettable He invited all his wedding party and their spouses! Here is an honest description of the magical week that marked the anniversary of Louise with its step 30 best friends in Paris.

The flight arrived around 11:30 to CDG airport and a driver was waiting for the group with a plaque with the family name. The group headed directly to the Marais district, where they were welcomed into a home with 5 private rooms equipped with a lift and pool and best of all included a butler. The butler gave them a brief tour of their house in Paris for next week. Yes, Tom, was homework and found the apartment on the Bauderlaire Luxury Apartments Paris.

For some, it can be seen as an extravagant trip, but if we consider an ultra-luxury accommodation in the heart of Paris to respond to 10 people for only $ 22,000, it leaves less than $ 3,000,00 per person.

After the group settled, they walked about half a mile from the Arc de Triomphe where they bought tickets for the tour bus hop-on/hop-off day two of the city. The weather was warm and beautiful ideal for cruising on the top and was the best way to discover the amazing sights.

The next stop is Notre Dame as a massive, very impressive structure, but it was a bit dark and it is hard for amateur photographers to make justice to such a majority, impressive site. After that, the party toured the Ile St-Louis and enjoyed the breakfast (toast monsMonday they spend 3.5 hours at the Louvre, which is surprising, but quite overwhelming. they were able to see all the most famous pieces (Mona Lisa Victory Samothrace, the Venus de Milo, etc.) and also visited the old French crown (Louis XIV) and recreation of Napoleon's old house. They had lunch Café Marly and walked around the area a bit and made our way back to the opera and, naturally, arrived right when it was closing (4 PM). It was the cocktail hour and they wre pretty tired so, fortunately, as they Harry's Bar, where they existed in a couple of Bloody Mary.

They went to the Cafe de la Paix for dinner and had a very good meal and then they come home town and corn James Joyce in the pub, where they were seated at a table outside and were accosted by a drunken patron total.

Tuesdays they took the subway to the Orsay in the morning and spent 2.5 hours. They raved about Orsay, the building is incredible and the collection is unforgettable. They took the RER to the Eiffel Tower and walked around and took some pictures. They had a long lunch at Jules Verne, which was totally delicious and quite an experience.

They walked to the Eiffel Tower to Les Invalides and looked at the First World War and the Second World War and has subsequently visited the crypt of Napoleon. From there they walked to the Rue de Cler and saw all the fruit and vegetable markets and had a drink in a local bar. They took the subway back home town and had a light lunch Chez Clement.

On Wednesday, they took the subway to Montmartre to visit Sacre Coeur, which all thought was much more interesting than Notre Dame. They walked to the Place Tetra and walked around and looked at all the stalls artist. They had lunch in a restaurant called The Cremaillere fun, which is right on the spot. Montmartre is a very interesting area with fun shops and gardens of Nice and interesting looking apartments.

They followed a walking tour and went to Au Lapin Agile (which, unfortunately, is apparently closed during the day) and then continued on Moulin Rouge. They had drinks on the boulevard Blanche (an area full of prostitutes!).

They took the Metro to Place de la Concorde which is a very impressive and then they went up the Champs-Elysees and had dinner at a restaurant called Café Fouquet on the Champs-Elysées is supposed to be the hot spot to hot for the people. They were on hand at the beginning so they missed a lot of that, but the food and the wine was very nice.

On Thursday, they took the metro to St. Germaine, an area everyone loved. They said that they lived in Paris is the neighborhood to live in. They came on the main road and found a big store, The Fragonard, and bought a bit of soap beautiful and perfumes (two of us) and Louise bought beautiful salad plates.

The lady was fantastic and gave us tons of samples Free lotions and perfumes and cosmetics others. They went to the Swarovski shop and Louise bought a beautiful pendant.

They did tour and visited several shops fun. They had lunch at Les Deux Magots, even if it is known, the food was average. They were replaced Quarter Latin, where they walked around the main square and also followed some of the guided walk. They walked past the Sorbonne and the Pantheon, they saw and some interesting ancient tombs / crypts.

They got off at Montparnasse, but many things were closed that day due to Victory in Europe Day. They had drinks at the Dome of Lila and then took the train from the Trocadero, where they took some nice photos of the Eiffel Tower. They walked a bit through the residential area (very posh) and headed to a restaurant called La Fontaine de Mars, a place that is local not touristy, and had a very good dinner.

On Friday, they woke up early to go to Versailles a guided tour. Versailles is very interesting it has beautiful gardens and the palace is totally over. They returned to Townhouse in about 1 h and changed clothes and went to Opera House and took a turn. It is perhaps the most beautiful thing they saw on the visit and the photos do not quite do it justice. It would be amazing to actually go to an opera there.

After they are all headed for Spring shopping and had a snack at the end the bistro with the stained glass dome. They also visited the Galeries Lafayette and other stores. They walked to the Madeleine and visited Fauchon and Other shops in this area. They went down the Rue Royale and had cocktails at La Rochefoucauld, then a dinner at the Grand Colbert near Galeries Vivienne which was delicious (especially the smoked salmon on blinis).

They visited Ste. Chapel, which is absolutely breathtaking and a truly fantastic site. There is another place where photos Wil do it justice, but they managed to get some decent. They then headed to the Marais, Les Halles and Bastille had lunch at Au Pied de Cochon. They walked around (partially following a suggested walking) and also visited Le Cochon, one of the bistros Authentic noted in the book that John gave Ali. They marched to the Place de Vosges (very impressive) and sat in the square under the trees.

They made their way back to the apartment. They rested and packed and had dinner at a local spot, Chez George, then jumped over the Tour Eiffel from They wanted to get pictures at night. Ali bought George glowy happy memories.
